Regional and international collaboration
Sweden collaborated closely both at the Nordic and the European levels. At present Norway is a partner in the inventory of perennial ornamentals and roses. European collaboration is taking place within the framework of ECP/GR.
In 2003 POM, together with the Portuguese national programme, arranged the first European Workshop for National Plant Genetic Resources Programmes which gathered around 100 participants from almost 40 countries.
In 2006,
the Second European Workshop on National Plant Genetic Resources Programmes: from research to policy making, was held in Luxemburg.
In 2007, POM arranged a workshop with participants from countries around the Baltic Sea (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden) to discuss garden diversity.
